Dr. Lauren McCoy‏‏‎ ‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎he/him/il

Dr. Lauren McCoy is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and is the owner of Actualize Psychological Services, where she offers Albertans convenient access to both online and in-person personal and performance counselling. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alberta. Her graduate research focused on the athletic career experiences and post-sport adjustment transition of Canadian major junior hockey players, for which was recognized by the Canadian Psychological Association for Academic Excellence.

Canadian coaches with a valid NCCP number, registered with the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), 18 years of age and up, and able to read, speak, and write in English or French.
Yes, you can earn 2 PD points for each synchronous (live) or asynchronous (self-paced) workshop you complete.
Although it is ideal to complete the workshops in sequence, you may choose a different order that is more suitable to your needs and preferences.

To support equity and accessibility, all 3 workshops will be available at no cost for one year from April 2023 to March 2024.
No, you have the option of completing one, two, or all three workshops.
No, you can choose between the synchronous (90-minute live on zoom with a CCMHS Learning Facilitator) or asynchronous (45-minute online at your own pace) format.
No. The workshops are available free of charge until March 2024. If you were unable to attend, we encourage you to sign up for an upcoming live workshop. Alternatively, you may also take the workshop as an online self-paced module.
