Geoff has been integral in the development and training of new and emerging coaches in British Columbia. Among his many accolades, he has experience working with two centers of the Regional Alliance in BC: PacificSport Vancouver Island (PSVI) and the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific (CSI-P).
He is passionate about the CCMHS mental health literacy workshops, as he recognizes the importance of coaches integrating mental health into their philosophy, planning, and practice. His mission is to help foster safe, supportive spaces that prioritize thriving and performance across the sports system.
When Geoff isn’t facilitating workshops, he can be found hiking, skiing, and fishing around Vancouver Island. He has been described as kind, knowledgeable, relatable, creative, and an excellent listener, which will greatly benefit anyone who attends his sessions. He is looking forward to connecting with coaches across the country to improve mental health outcomes in sport.

Parmi ses nombreuses réalisations, il a travaillé avec deux centres de l’Alliance régionale en Colombie-Britannique : PacificSport Vancouver Island (PSVI) et l’Institut canadien du sport – Pacifique (ICS-P).
Il est passionné par les ateliers du CCSMS sur l’amélioration des connaissances en santé mentale, car il reconnaît l’importance pour les entraîneurs d’intégrer la santé mentale à leur philosophie, à leur planification et à leur pratique. Sa mission est d’aider à créer des espaces sûrs et solidaires qui donnent la priorité à l’épanouissement et à la performance dans l’ensemble du système sportif.
Lorsque Geoff ne dirige pas des ateliers, on peut le trouver en train de faire de la randonnée, de skier ou de pêcher sur l’île de Vancouver. Il a été décrit comme aimable, bien informé, sympathique, créatif et très à l’écoute, ce qui profitera grandement à tous ceux qui assistent à ses séances. Il est impatient de rencontrer des entraîneurs de tout le pays afin d’améliorer les résultats en santé mentale dans le sport.
